License and This Web Site
The University has obtained
a limited site license with Mathworks for MATLAB, Simulink and several toolboxes.
The license is limited to
3198 installations. The software is
available for installation and use by The University of Montana staff, faculty
and students for on or off-campus academic work and research.
The purpose of this web site
is to provide limited installation.

1. Start the
MATLAB Installer from the MATLAB CD/DVD or downloaded installer.
2. Enter
Mathworks provided username (email address) and password
3. Follow
the Installer's directions to completion.
UNIX/Linux/Mac OS Leopard (Obtain Obtain Mathworks
activation and/or download credentials.)
1) X11 should
be installed prior to MATLAB installation process
1. Start the
MATLAB Installer from the MATLAB CD/DVD or downloaded installer.
2. Enter
Mathworks provided username (email address) and password
3. Follow
the Installer's directions to completion.
