- Gambling Day
The math club sponsors a Gambling Day each fall. We usually have
tables with Black Jack (with a professional dealer), Texas Hold 'Em,
Keno, and Craps. In addition to the gambling there are lectures by
statistics professors on the probability of winning and the
mathematics behind various betting schemes. Players receive a fixed
amount of math club money at the start. Prizes are awarded based on
the most dollars accumulated at the end of play. Pictured are the
dealers, croupiers, and gamblers from past years.
