I am currently involved with an NSF IGERT (Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship) grant to establish a graduate program in the ecology of infectious disease at the University of Montana. This program is known as the Montana Ecology of Infectious Disease (M-EID) program and is in its third year of students. More about this program can be found at the M-EID website.

I am also one of the co-directors of the Montana Integrative Learning Experience for Students (MILES) undergraduate research program. This is a competitive program providing funding in the form of fellowships and internships to support undergraduates doing interdisciplinary research in biology and the computational sciences. More about this program can be found at the MILES website.
